وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَأَنَا أَبْكِي ، فَقَالَ : " مَا يُبْكِيكِ ؟ " . قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، ذَكَرْتُ الدَّجَّالَ فَبَكَيْتُ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنْ يَخْرُجْ وَأَنَا فِيكُمْ كُفِيتُمُوهُ ، وَإِنْ يَخْرُجْ بَعْدِي فَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - لَيْسَ بِأَعْوَرَ ، إِنَّهُ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ يَهُودِيَّةِ أَصْبَهَانَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ الْمَدِينَةَ فَيَنْزِلُ نَاحِيَتَهَا وَلَهَا يَوْمَئِذٍ سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَابٍ ، عَلَى كُلِّ نَقْبٍ مِنْهَا مَلَكَانِ ، فَيَخْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ شِرَارُ أَهْلِهَا حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ الشَّامَ مَدِينَةَ فِلَسْطِينَ بِبَابِ لُدٍّ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ مَرَّةً : " حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ مَدِينَةَ فِلَسْطِينَ فَيَنْزِلُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ - عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ - فَيَقْتُلُهُ ، وَيَمْكُثُ عِيسَى فِي الْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً إِمَامًا عَدْلًا وَحَكَمًا مُقْسِطًا " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ بْنِ لَاحِقٍ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me while I was weeping. He asked: "Why are you weeping?" I said: "O Messenger of Allah, I thought of the Dajjal, so I began to weep." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If he emerges while I am among you, I will suffice against him on behalf of all of you; and if he emerges after me, then your Lord is not one-eyed. The Dajjal will emerge from among the Jews of Isfahan until he comes to Madinah and camps at its edge. At that time Madinah will have seven gates, and at each gate there will be two angels. Then the evil people living there will go out to the Dajjal. Then he will come to Bab Ludd, a city of Palestine in Syria." (Here a narrator named Abu Dawud once narrated these words:) "until he comes to Bab Ludd, the city of Palestine, and there Sayyiduna Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon him) will descend and kill him. Then Sayyiduna Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon him) will remain for forty years as a just ruler and an equitable judge."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except al-Hadrami bin Lahiq, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
