عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : أَقْبَلَ سَعْدٌ إِلَى نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَلَمَّا رَآهُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ فِي وَجْهِ سَعْدٍ لَخَبَرًا " . قَالَ : قُتِلَ كِسْرَى . قَالَ : يَقُولُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَعَنَ اللَّهُ كِسْرَى ، إِنَّ أَوَّلَ النَّاسِ هَلَاكًا الْعَرَبُ ثُمَّ أَهْلُ فَارِسَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ الْكَلَامُ عَلَيْهِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) was coming towards the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw him, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is news in Sa'd's face. He said: (The news) of Chosroes being killed. The narrator says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: May Allah Almighty curse Chosroes! The first of people to meet destruction will be the Arabs, and then the people of Persia.
