Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12356

Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates about the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): He (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his gaze towards the sky and then said: "Allah is free from every imperfection, who has sent upon them trials that are like rain."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains the narrator Yahya bin Salamah bin Kuhayl, and he is da'if (weak).
