عَنْ خَرَشَةَ بْنِ الْحُرِّ ، وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَا يَشْهَدَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ قَتِيلًا لَعَلَّهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ قُتِلَ مَظْلُومًا فَتُصِيبُهُ السَّخْطَةُ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَزَّارُ بِنَحْوِهِ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " فَتَنْزِلُ السَّخْطَةُ عَلَيْهِمْ فَتُصِيبُهُ مَعَهُمْ " ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ وَهُوَ حَسَنُ الْحَدِيثِ .
Sayyiduna Kharashah bin al-Hurr (may Allah be pleased with him), who was one of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Let none of you ever be present at the killing of a slain man, for perhaps he is being killed wrongfully, and then (Allah's) displeasure will afflict that (person who was present) as well."
Ahmad recorded this narration, and al-Bazzar recorded something similar, and he recorded these words: "Then displeasure descends upon those people and afflicts that person along with them." The chain of this narration contains Ibn Lahi'ah, in whom there is weakness, and he is hasan al-hadith (fair in hadith).
