عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : أَقْبَلَ سَعْدٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَلَمَّا رَآهُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ فِي وَجْهِ سَعْدٍ لَخَيْرًا " . قَالَ : قُتِلَ كِسْرَى . قَالَ : يَقُولُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَعَنَ اللَّهُ كِسْرَى ، إِنَّ أَوَّلَ النَّاسِ هَلَاكًا الْعَرَبُ ثُمَّ أَهْلُ فَارِسَ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ دَاوُدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْأَوْدِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When he saw him, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is good in Sa'd's face." He said: "Kisra has been killed." The narrator said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying: "May Allah Almighty curse Kisra. The first of people to perish will be the Arabs, and then the people of Persia."
