وَعَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " يَكُونُ لِأَصْحَابِي زَلَّةٌ يَغْفِرُهَا اللَّهُ لَهُمْ بِصُحْبَتِهِمْ ، وَسَيَتَأَسَّى بِهِمْ قَوْمٌ بَعْدَهُمْ يَكُبُّهُمُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنَاخِرِهِمْ فِي النَّارِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْفَيَّاضِ ، قَالَ ابْنُ يُونُسَ : يَرْوِي عَنْ أَشْهَبَ مَنَاكِيرَ ، قُلْتُ : وَهَذَا مِمَّا رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَشْهَبَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْفَيَّاضِ ، قَالَ ابْنُ يُونُسَ : يَرْوِي عَنْ أَشْهَبَ مَنَاكِيرَ ، قُلْتُ : وَهَذَا مِمَّا رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَشْهَبَ .
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin al-Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "My Companions will commit a slip, which Allah Almighty will forgive them on account of their being Companions; and after them some people will follow them, whom Allah Almighty will throw face down into Hell on their nostrils."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Ibrahim bin Abi al-Fayyad; Ibn Yunus said: He narrated munkar (objectionable) reports from Ashhab. I say: This is one of the reports he narrated from Ashhab.
