وَعَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ : صَلَّى الزُّبَيْرُ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ وَدَفَنَهُ ، وَكَانَ أَوْصَى إِلَيْهِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ قَتَادَةَ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ الْقِصَّةَ .

Qatadah narrates: Sayyiduna Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) led the funeral prayer of Sayyiduna Uthman al-Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him), and it was he who buried him, because Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) had made a bequest concerning him.
