Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: A Jew saw in a dream that the Ummah of Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would be an excellent people were it not that they say: "Whatever Allah wills and whatever Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) wills." That Jew mentioned this before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not say: 'Whatever Allah wills and whatever Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) wills.' Say only: 'Whatever Allah wills.'"
Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
