Muhammad bin Ka'b al-Qurazi says: The Qadariyyah sect was mentioned in the presence of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "The people of the Qadariyyah sect have been cursed on the tongues of seventy prophets (peace be upon them) and of our Prophet, Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Day of Resurrection comes, Allah Almighty will gather the people on one plain, and then a caller will make an announcement that all the first and the last will hear. He will say: 'Where are the opponents of Allah Almighty?' Then the people of the Qadariyyah sect will stand up."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin al-Fadl bin Atiyyah, who is matruk (abandoned).
Abu Ya'la recorded it in al-Kabir in abridged form, through the narration of Baqiyyah bin al-Walid from Habib bin Amr; the narrator Baqiyyah is a mudallis, and the narrator Habib is majhul (unknown).
