وَعَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَاهَانَ ، قَالَ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ : لَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He is not one of us who does not recite the Qur'an with a beautiful voice."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Mahan, about whom al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) says: He is not strong. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
