عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ أَمْكِنَةٍ مَكَّةَ ، وَالْمَدِينَةِ ، وَالشَّامِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عُفَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Qur'an was revealed in three places: Makkah, Madinah and Syria (al-Sham)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ufayr bin Ma'dan, who is da'if (weak).
