قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : وَأَصْحَابُ الْيَمِينِ .

عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - تَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ وَأَصْحَابُ الْيَمِينِ . . وَأَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِ ، فَقَبَضَ بِيَدَيْهِ قَبْضَتَيْنِ ، فَقَالَ : " هَذِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَلَا أُبَالِي ، وَهَذِهِ فِي النَّارِ وَلَا أُبَالِي " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ الْبَرَاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْغَنَوِيُّ ، قَالَ ابْنُ عَدِيٍّ : وَهُوَ أَقْرَبُ عِنْدِي إِلَى الصِّدْقِ مِنْهُ إِلَى الضَّعْفِ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ إِلَّا أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ مُعَاذٍ .
Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "And the people of the right" "And the people of the left". Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) closed both his hands into fists and said: (Allah Almighty has said:) "These will go to Paradise and I do not care, and these will go to Hell and I do not care."
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains the narrator al-Bara' bin Abdullah al-Ghanawi; Ibn Adi said: In my view he is closer to truthfulness than to weakness. The remaining narrators of this narration are the narrators of the Sahih, except that the narrator al-Hasan did not hear from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him).
