Majma al-Zawaid 10170 — Those who were martyred on the day

Ibn Shihab narrates: On the occasion of the Battle of the Trench, from the Ansar, Sayyiduna Anas bin Mu'adh bin Aws bin Abd Amr (may Allah be pleased with him), and from Banu Salimah, a branch of the Ansar, Sayyiduna Tha'labah bin Anamah (may Allah be pleased with him) drank the cup of martyrdom.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih. The hadith from Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) has already passed before this, in which two men being martyred together is mentioned.
