وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ; أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ وَقَدْ جَمَعُوا لَهُ جُمُوعًا كَثِيرَةً ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَا يَغْزُوكُمْ بَعْدَهَا أَبَدًا ، وَلَكِنْ تَغْزُوهُمْ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the day of the Confederates (al-Ahzab), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, when the enemy had gathered many armies against him, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After this they will never attack you; rather, you will attack them."
