Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: My maternal uncle Sayyiduna Uthman bin Maz'un (may Allah be pleased with him) sent a quilt for his father. I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked his permission; at that time he was at the trench. He gave me permission and said: "Whomever you meet, say to him: 'The Messenger of Allah is ordering you to come back.'" The narrator says: This was in severe cold. I went out and spoke with people, and I said to them: "The Messenger of Allah is ordering you to go back." The narrator says: By Allah! Not even two or one of them refused what I said.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
