وَعَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ : وَكَانَ مِنْ كُبَرَاءِ بَنِي عَدِيٍّ ، وَكَانَ أَبُوهُ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الصَّدَفِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Al-Zuhri reported this from the son of Amir bin Rabi'ah, who was one of the elders of Banu Adi, and whose father had the honour of taking part in the battle of Badr.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Mu'awiyah bin Yahya al-Sadafi, and he is da'if (weak).
