وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : فَقَامَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَحْشٍ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَعْدَاءُ اللَّهِ كَذَّبُوكَ وَأَخْرَجُوكَ وَقَاتَلُوكَ ، وَأَنْتَ بَوَادٍ كَثِيرِ الْحَطَبِ .
In one narration the wording is: Then Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah, these are the enemies of Allah; they belied you, they drove you out and they fought against you, and you are in a valley with plenty of firewood."
