Sunan Ibn Majah 1862 — Marrying free women who are fertile
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلَّامُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ طَاهِرًا مُطَهَّرًا فَلْيَتَزَوَّجِ الْحَرَائِرَ " .
´It was narrated that:` Anas bin Malik said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever wants to meet Allah pure and purified, let him marry free women.' ”
Brief Explanation
1؎: Because free women are more delicate and pure compared to slave women, and it is possible that the intended meaning is that whoever marries free women, his gaze will not be raised towards non-mahram women, thus he will remain protected from most sins.
