بَابُ السَّاعِي عَلَى الأَرْمَلَةِ:
25 ) Chapter. The one who looks after and works for a widow

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ ، يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " السَّاعِي عَلَى الْأَرْمَلَةِ وَالْمِسْكِينِ كَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، أَوْ كَالَّذِي يَصُومُ النَّهَارَ وَيَقُومُ اللَّيْلَ " .
Narrated Safwan bin Salim: The Prophet said "The one who looks after and works for a widow and for a poor person, is like a warrior fighting for Allah's Cause or like a person who fasts during the day and prays all the night." Narrated Abu Huraira that the Prophet said as above.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الدِّيلِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْغَيْثِ مَوْلَى ابْنِ مُطِيعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ .
Ismail bin Abi Uwais narrated to us, he said that Imam Malik narrated to me, from Thawr bin Zayd Al-Deeli, from Abu’l-Ghaith, the freed slave of Ibn Muti’, from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), and from him, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said likewise.
