حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُقْرِئِ ، قَالَ : ثنا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ زَهْدَمٍ الْجَرْمِيِّ ، أَنَّ رَجُلا اعْتَزَلَ الدَّجَاجَ ، وَقَالَ : رَأَيْتُهَا تَأْكُلُ شَيْئًا فَقَذِرُتُهَا ، فَقَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُهُ " .
Zahdam al-Jarmi narrates that a man abstained from eating chicken and said: I saw it eating something because of which I developed an aversion to it. So, Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) eating it.
