Al-Muntaqa Ibn al-Jarud 719 — Marriage
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : ثنا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنِ الشِّغَارِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade shighar (exchange marriage).
