Al-Muntaqa Ibn al-Jarud 658 — Usury
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، قَالَ : ثنا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " رَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا أَنْ يُبَاعَ بِخَرْصِهَا كَيْلا " .
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted the sale of ‘Araya, that its estimation be made and in exchange for it, measured dates be given.
