Al-Muntaqa Ibn al-Jarud 532 — Funerals
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : " كُلٌّ قَدْ كَانَ خَمْسًا وَأَرْبَعًا ، فَأُمِرَ بِأَرْبَعٍ " .
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that both four takbirs and five takbirs are established, then he gave the order for (four takbirs).
