Al-Muntaqa Ibn al-Jarud 520 — Funerals
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا يَعْلَى ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : " وَضَفَرْنَا رَأْسَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلاثَةَ قُرُونٍ وَأَلْقَيْنَاهَا خَلْفَهَا " .
Sayyida Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that we made three braids of the hair of the head of the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), then we placed them behind her.
