Al-Muntaqa Ibn al-Jarud 3 — Wudu for Passing Wind
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، أَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، وَعَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ شَيْئًا فَلَا يَنْصَرِفْ حَتَّى يَجِدَ رِيحًا أَوْ يَسْمَعَ صَوْتًا».
Ubadah bin Tamim narrates from his uncle that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: When any of you feels something during prayer, he should not break the prayer until he hears a sound or perceives a smell.
