Al-Muntaqa Ibn al-Jarud 1089 — Booty for those present at the battle
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْقِيرَاطِيُّ ، قَالَ : أنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ بُرَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : تَوَافَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ افْتَتَحَ خَيْبَرَ فَأَسْهَمَ لَنَا ، أَوْ قَالَ : فَأَعْطَانَا مِنْهَا ، وَمَا قَسَمَ لأَحَدٍ غَابَ عَنْ فَتْحِ خَيْبَرَ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا إِلا لِمَنْ شَهِدَ مَعَهُ ، إِلا أَصْحَابَ سَفِينَتِنَا مَعَ جَعْفَرٍ وَأَصْحَابِهِ ، قَسَمَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when Khaybar was conquered, we met the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he allotted us a share. Or he narrated that he gave us from it. Those who did not participate in the conquest of Khaybar, he did not give any share to any of them, except the participants of the battle and the companions of our boat, that is, Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) and his companions (who did not participate in the battle), he gave them a share.
