حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، قَالَ : ثنا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : ثني عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الأَشْجَعِيِّ وَخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يُخَمِّسِ السَّلَبَ " .
Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik Ashja'i and Sayyiduna Khalid bin Walid (may Allah be pleased with them) narrate that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not take out a fifth (khums) from the spoils (belongings of the slain).
