Brief Explanation
Hafiz Ibn Hajar states in Fath al-Bari that in this hadith is a refutation of those who delay breaking the fast and wait for the appearance of the stars, which is the practice of the Jews and Christians, regarding which the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) expressed his severe displeasure.
