Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If a man had a valley full of gold, he would wish that it were two, and nothing fills his mouth except the dust of the grave. And Allah accepts the repentance of the one who repents.

Brief Explanation
The love of wealth and striving for its acquisition has been placed in the nature of the children of Adam, and only he can be satisfied from it whom Allah, the Exalted, protects. And grants him the ability to remove this instinct from his own self. (Murattib rahimahullah)
