Brief Explanation
Hadith Narrator: ... The kunyah of Abdullah bin Ja'far bin Abi Talib radi Allahu anhu was Abu Ja'far al-Hashimi al-Habashi. When his parents migrated to Abyssinia (Habashah), he was born there, and he was the first child to be born among the Muslims in that land. Then, when his noble father was martyred in the Battle of Mu'tah, the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam took responsibility for his upbringing. He was very generous, which is why he was called Bahr al-Jood (the Ocean of Generosity). He passed away in Madinah Munawwarah in the year 84 or 85 Hijri.
