1227 صحيح حديث عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، الأَجْرُ وَالْمَغْنَمُ
Hazrat Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Goodness and blessing will remain tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection, meaning reward in the Hereafter and spoils of war in this world will continue to be obtained.
Brief Explanation
Hadith Narrator: ... Hazrat Urwah bin al-Ja'd al-Bariqi radi Allahu anhu was a Companion. He was the first to be appointed as a judge (qadi) in Kufa and used to serve the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. His narrations are present in the six authentic books (kutub al-sittah).
