عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ((لَقَدْ أَعْذَرَ اللَّهُ إِلَى عَبْدٍ أَحْيَاهُ حَتَّى بَلَغَ سِتِّينَ أَوْ سَبْعِينَ سَنَةً لَقَدْ أَعْذَرَ اللَّهُ لَقَدْ أَعْذَرَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ))
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Verily, Allah Almighty has removed the excuse of that person whom He kept alive until he reached the age of sixty or seventy years. Indeed, Allah Almighty has removed his excuse, thus Allah Almighty has removed his excuse.
