بَابُ في بر الأولادِ وَالأقَارِبِ الْأَقْرَبِ فَالْاقْرَبِ اب مَا جَاءَ فِي نَمْرَةِ الأَوْلَادِ وَالتَّرْغِيْبِ فِي ادِيهِمْ وَالْعَطْفِ عَلَيْهِمْ

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ رُسْتُمَ الْمُزَنِيُّ ثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ عَمْرٍو بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ أَوِ ابْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا نَحَلَ وَالِدٌ وَلَدَهُ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ أَدَبٍ حَسَنٍ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ خَلْفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْبَزَّارُ وَالْقَوَارِيرِيُّ قَالَا ثَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ أَبِي عَامِرٍ بِإِسْنَادِهِ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
Sayyiduna Saeed bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Parents have not given their child any gift better than good manners.

Benefits: … This is a very great reality that the greatest gift parents can give their children is good manners and proper upbringing. Children should be made capable so that they understand the religion and are not heedless of the world either.
