(وَمِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَالِثٍ) عَنْهَا عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ: جَاءَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلَتْهُ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى فِي مَنَامِهَا مَا يَرَى الرَّجُلُ، فَقَالَ: ((إِذَا رَأَتِ الْمَاءَ فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ)) قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: فَضَحْتِ النِّسَاءَ، وَهَلْ تَحْتَلِمُ الْمَرْأَةُ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((تَرِبَتْ يَمِينُكِ، فَبِمَ يُشْبِهُهَا وَلَدُهَا إِذًا))
(Third chain) Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) says: Sayyida Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked about a woman who sees in a dream what men see. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When she sees water, she should perform ghusl (ritual bath). I said: You have disgraced women; does a woman also have a wet dream? The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: May your right hand be dusted! Then how does the child resemble her?
