Al-Fath ar-Rabbani 8194 — on the Virtue of Gray Hair and the Dislike

وَمِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ بِنَحْوِهِ وَفِيهِ وَمُحِيَتْ عَنْهُ بِهَا سَيِّئَةٌ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يُوَقِّرْ كَبِيرَنَا وَيَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا
(Second chain) There is a similar narration, except that its final words are as follows: And through it, evil is erased. Also, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: He is not one of us who does not respect our elders and does not show mercy to our young ones.
