عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعَضَلَةِ سَاقِي أَوْ سَاقِهِ قَالَ هَذَا مَوْضِعُ الْإِزَارِ فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَأَسْفَلُ فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَلَا حَقَّ لِلْإِزَارِ فِيمَا دُونَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ

Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) held my calf muscle and said, "This is the place to tie the lower garment. If you object to this, then let it be a little below it, and if you object to even that, then there is no allowance for keeping the lower garment below the ankles."
