عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا أَقُولُ نَهَاكُمْ عَنِ الْمُعَصْفَرِ وَالتَّخَتُّمِ بِالذَّهَبِ
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade me from wearing clothes dyed with safflower and from wearing a gold ring. I do not say that he forbade you.
