Al-Fath ar-Rabbani 7856 — on the Dreams of the Prophet

۔عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللّٰہِ صَلَّی اللّٰہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((رَأَیْتُ کَأَنِّی اللَّیْلَۃَ فِی دَارِ رَافِعِ بْنِ عُقْبَۃَ قَالَ حَسَنٌ فِی دَارِ عُقْبَۃَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ فَأُوتِینَا بِتَمْرٍ مِنْ تَمْرِ ابْنِ طَابٍ فَأَوَّلْتُ أَنَّ لَنَا الرِّفْعَۃَ فِی الدُّنْیَا وَالْعَاقِبَۃَ فِی الْآخِرَۃِ وَأَنَّ دِینَنَا قَدْ طَابَ۔))

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I saw in a dream at night that I was in the house of Rafi’ bin ‘Uqbah, and Ibn Tab dates were brought to us. I interpreted this as meaning that we will be granted elevation in this world and a good outcome in the Hereafter, and that our religion has attained great excellence.
