Al-Fath ar-Rabbani 7844 — on Not Informing About What the Devil Plays
۔(وَعَنْہُ مِنْ طَرِیْقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِیَّ صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم وَرَاٰی رَجُلًا سَمِیْنًا فَجَعَلَ النَّبِیُّ صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم یُوْمِی اِلٰی بَطْنِہٖ بِیَدِہٖ وَیَقُوْلُ: ((لَوْ کَانَ ھٰذَا فِیْ غَیْرِ ھٰذَا الَمْکَانِ لَکَانَ خَیْرًا لَکَ۔))
(Second chain) The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, saw a stout man and pointed towards his belly and said: If this largeness had been in some other (limb or intellectual ability, etc.), it would have been better.

Benefits: … This narration is weak; nevertheless, having a large belly due to excessive eating is blameworthy.
