عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ رَأَيْتُ الْبَارِحَةَ فِيمَا يَرَى النَّائِمُ كَأَنَّ عُنُقِي ضُرِبَتْ فَسَقَطَ رَأْسِي فَاتَّبَعْتُهُ فَأَخَذْتُهُ فَأَعَدْتُهُ مَكَانَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا لَعِبَ الشَّيْطَانُ بِأَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يُحَدِّثَنَّ بِهِ النَّاسَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I saw in a dream that my neck was cut off and my head fell down, I went after it, caught it, and put it back in its place. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Satan plays with any one of you in this way, he should never tell people about it.
