عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ مِنَ النَّخْلَةِ وَالْعِنَبَةِ
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Wine is made from the fruits of these two trees—date and grape.
