عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ وَقَعَ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فِي لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ وَنَصَبُوا الْقُدُورَ وَنَصَبْتُ قِدْرِي فِيمَنْ نَصَبَ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ أَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ فَأُكْفِئَتِ الْقُدُورُ فَكَفَأْتُ قِدْرِي فِيمَنْ كَفَأَ
Syedna Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that on the day of Khaybar, people became busy cooking the meat of domestic donkeys and they also placed pots for cooking. I also placed a pot. When this matter reached the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: I forbid you from this, I forbid you from the meat of donkeys. He said this twice. So the pots were overturned, and I also overturned my pot among those who overturned their pots.
