عَنْ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ قَالَ سَأَلَ شَرِيكِي وَأَنَا مَعَهُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ الْجَرَادِ فَقَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ وَقَالَ غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ فَكُنَّا نَأْكُلُهُ
It is narrated from Abu Ya’foor, he says: My companion asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with them both) about locusts, while I was also with him. He replied: There is no harm in it. I participated in seven battles with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and we used to eat locusts.
