Al-Fath ar-Rabbani 675 — on Wiping Over the Turban, Headscarf
وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَعَلَى الْخِمَارِ يَعْنِي الْعِمَامَةَ
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performing ablution, and he wiped over the leather socks and the turban.
