عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي خُطْبَةٍ خَطَبَهَا فِي فَضْلِ مَكَّةَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِهَا لَا يُعْضَدُ شَجَرُهَا وَلَا يُنَفَّرُ صَيْدُهَا وَلَا تَحِلُّ لُقَطَتُهَا إِلَّا لِمُنْشِدٍ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the virtue of Makkah on the day of the conquest of Makkah: Its trees should not be cut, its game should not be frightened, and its fallen property is not lawful for anyone except for the one who announces it.
