بَابُ مَنْ حَلَفَ بِمِلَّةٍ سِوَى الإِسْلَامِ وَمَنْ قَالَ: أَنَّهُ بَرِيءٌ مِنَ الْإِسْلَامِ
Chapter on Whoever Swears by a Religion Other Than Islam, and Whoever Says: "I Am Free from Islam"
Al-Fath ar-Rabbani 5304 — on Whoever Swears by a Religion Other Than
عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الضَّحَّاكِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَمَنْ حَلَفَ بِمِلَّةٍ سِوَى الْإِسْلَامِ كَاذِبًا فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Thabit bin Dhahak (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: And whoever swears by a religion other than Islam, while he is lying, then he will become as he has said.
