- (وَمِنْ طَرِيقِ ثَانِ) عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرِو نِ الشَّيْبَانِي بِنَحْوِهِ مُخْتَصِرًا وَفِي آخِرِهِ: قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: يَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُ أَسْلَمَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُغَارَ عَلَيْهِ -
(Second chain) The text is similar, but it is shorter and at its end it says: They believe that this person had accepted Islam before the attack on him.
