(وَمِنْ طَرِيقٍ أُخْرَى) عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ حَدَّثَنِي شَقِيقٌ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ: كُنْتَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي طَرِيقٍ فَتَنَحَّيْتُ فَأَتَى سُبَاطَةَ قَوْمٍ فَتَبَاعَدْتُّ مِنْهُ، فَأَدْنَانِي حَتَّى صِرْتُ مِنْ عَقِبَيْهِ فَبَالَ قَائِمًا وَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ
(Second Chain) Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I was with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on a path, then he moved aside to a heap of a people’s rubbish, so I distanced myself from him, but he brought me close to him, until I was standing by his heels. Then he stood and urinated, then called for water, performed ablution, and wiped over his leather socks.
