بَابُ الْوُقُوفِ عَلَى الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَالذِّكْرِ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ
Chapter: Standing on Safa and Marwah and Dhikr at That Time
Al-Fath ar-Rabbani 4403 — Standing on Safa and Marwah and Dhikr
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَكَانَ عُمَرُ يَأْمُرُ بِالْمَقَامِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِنْ حَيْثُ يَرَاهَا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to go and stand on Safa and Marwah, and Sayyiduna Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, also used to command to stand at such a place on both of them from where the House of Allah could be seen.
