بَابُ صَلَاةِ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَحُكْمِ مَنْ سَبَقَ بِرَكْعَةٍ أَوْ زُوحِمَ، وَمَنْ قَالَ بِاشْتِرَاطِ الْمَسْجِدِ لِصِحَّةِ الْجُمُعَةِ
Chapter on Friday prayer being two rak'ahs, the ruling of one who missed a rak'ah or was crowded, and those who require a mosque for the validity of Friday
Al-Fath ar-Rabbani 2812 — on Friday prayer being two rak'ahs
عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: صَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ، وَصَلَاةُ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ، وَصَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, says: On the blessed tongue of Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, two rak'ahs of travel prayer, two rak'ahs of Eid al-Adha prayer, two rak'ahs of Eid al-Fitr prayer, and two rak'ahs of Friday prayer are complete prayers; there is no deficiency in them.
